Ozark Folk Center
Ever wonder how people got along without mobile phones, cars, the internet, electricity, and all the wonderful technology we enjoy today? Travel back to a simpler time at the Ozark Folk Center. Highly skilled artisans demonstrate many different crafts in an easily navigated village-like setting.
Watch the blacksmith transform raw iron into decorative pieces. A copper artist turns a brown metal into works of art. A classic gunsmith explains how Revolution-era firearms were made. Interact directly with these amazing and friendly craftspeople in this up-close experience.
Enjoy musicians of all ages performing daily at the covered stage area. These artisans of music showcase their talents with all sorts of folk instruments as well as singing and dancing.
Guests of the Wildflower Bed & Breakfast can purchase a combination ticket good for both the craft village admission and music show admission for only $16. Regular admission to each separately would normally be $24.
The Ozark Folk Center is less than a mile from the Wildflower Bed & Breakfast. Don’t miss this highlight of Mountain View Area Attractions. Ask for your discount coupon for the Craft Village and/or nightly music shows.

Mountain View Music Park
The Mountain View Music Park is a great place to see some very talented musicians play live folk and bluegrass music. It’s great fun and free! Just pull up a chair and listen.
Do you play an instrument? Bring it along, sit in, and play. It doesn’t matter how good you are. Even if you just strum along, you’ll have a lot of fun playing along with some of Mountain View’s great musicians.
Known as the Arkansas Tail of the Dragon, Push Mountain extends from Mountain View, through the small town of Fifty Six to Norfork. It is a wonderfully curvy and scenic ride for any level of motorcycle enthusiast.
This ride is especially good in the fall when the leaves are turning. Take a turn northwest from Norfork into Mountain Home and turn west to catch a great view of Bull Shoals lake. Make the loop around through Flippin back to Mountain View. This route make a great day ride. Check out my blog post here.
Come on back to the Wildflower where you can relax with some drinks and snacks. Take it easy in the comfortable chairs in the parlor or one of the rocking chairs on the porch. Ask Shelley about a post-ride massage. (By the way, that’s how we got together!)
